Maraschino’s October 2025 Horoscopes

Words: Maraschino

One of the nice features of this month is that it’s not September, and we’re out of Eclipse Season. While October will have its WTF moments, there’s plenty of astro-weather to enjoy too. Libra season highlights the collective desire for harmony, peace, diplomacy, justice, beautiful art and music, and excellent aesthetics. As corrupt institutions continue to erode the fabric of society and reality as we know it, it's increasingly vital to focus our individual and collective efforts on preserving these values, so that we may continue to enjoy them.

There’s a lot of positive energy supporting us if we’re willing to forgo short-term thrills for long-term gains. What are we willing to personally sacrifice in order to live in a world that’s more beautiful, more harmonious, more just for all? The Full Moon in Aries on October 6th is very loud, and will bring big breakthroughs and culminations in our identities as well as our relationships. Mercury enters Scorpio that day as well, where it enjoys deep dives and exposing what’s hidden. Venus in Virgo will sextile Jupiter in Cancer on October 8th, reminding us that consistent acts of service, care, and love nurture and sustain community. Saturn in Pisces rains on Venus’ parade on October 11th, so romance and finances might feel rough for a few days. Venus sashays into Chateau Libra on October 13th, glamming up the skies and doing her best to lighten the mood for the remainder of the month.

She’ll be trining Uranus in Gemini and Pluto in Aquarius shortly after, creating some nice opportunities that bridge love, money, innovation, and transformation. Pluto might be acting naughty around the 13th as it stations direct, so maybe brace for impact a little too. Mercury and Mars will conjunct in Scorpio on October 20th, sparking  debates, weaponizing words, and generally gnar-ing the discourse. Choose your battles wisely, and avoid them if you can. The New Moon in Libra on October 21st is a beautiful opportunity to set intentions for love, justice, truth, and renewal in our relationships. The Sun slips into sultry Scorpio and Neptune retrogrades into Pisces on October 22nd, plunging us into the deep, dreamy, and delulu ocean of emotions. Mercury ingresses into Sadge on October 29th, immediately opposing Uranus in Gemini, so it’s safe to expect a mixed bag of brilliance and chaos personally and out in the world. However it plays out, it can be comforting to remember that nothing lasts forever. Maybe appreciating the transience of all things makes it a little easier to envision and build the dream that comes after this.

Advice from the Tarot: The Magician

Sky’s the limit

Hey Aries. The pot definitely got stirred in September, and like most of us, you’re probably still mopping up the cosmic slop. Boundaries look great on you - meaning you’re taking up as much space as you need to be who you are, and keeping everyone else out of it. It’s not about pushing people away; it’s about fortifying your sense of self so you can enact positive change, materially and spiritually. You’re on an accelerated evolutionary trajectory right now and you kinda just need a minute, ya know? Of course, it is Libra season, so making time to express love and gratitude to your favourites will bring a sense of renewal and joy to your life that you don’t want to miss out on. Trust that you’re being guided in the right direction, even if the ride feels a little nauseating. Meditation, peaceful surroundings, and a good sense of humour about the absurdity of it all will go a long way right now.

Advice from the Tarot: Temperance

Take it easy!

Hey Taurus. This month, Karma is returning something you thought was lost and suddenly, there’s a lot to think about. You’re passionate and driven to pursue the unions that light your fire and lift you up, and just as ready to sever ties with outworn dynamics and groups that have lost their spark. Don’t cling to fool’s gold. If it inspires you, you’re on the right track. If it drains you, send it back. When you’re not sure which way to turn, ask yourself: what would someone who loves themselves do?

Advice from the Tarot: Knight of Pentacles

Slow your roll

Hey Gemini. Work might feel chaotic, demanding, and oppressive with a side of drama this month, but if you can compartmentalise enough to enjoy the rest of life’s offerings, you’ll be just fine. Uranus is jolting you with lots of profound realisations about your personal power and divinity, and it’s likely a bit destabilising, even when you’re enjoying it. Lean into your creativity, explore your higher callings, and commit to who and whatever truly supports the person you’re becoming. Tune out the noise, and trust your heart to lead you exactly where you want to be.

Advice from the Tarot: Ten of Cups

 Love is all around

Hey Cancer. New pathways and fated opportunities that support your personal evolution are presenting themselves now. Some of this might feel slightly out of  reach, or a little intimidating to explore, but you’re lucky, protected, and encouraged to take the leap toward personal expansion. Speaking from the heart brings rewards to you and everyone lucky enough to catch your drift. Be open to new perspectives and worldviews, and free yourself from any illusions that dilute your inner knowing or sense of purpose. Indulge in what brings you pleasure, earthly or ethereal.

Advice from the Tarot: Ace of Wands

Make it happen

Hey Leo. Love is in the air, and past-life pleasures bring amusement and inspiration into the present. While you’ll certainly be enjoying yourself, there may be some jealousy or energetic interference in your orbit to contend with. Your heart knows the truth, even if your mind isn’t fully convinced. Any stress or upheaval you’re experiencing now is meant to expand your consciousness and awaken you to the limitlessness of your potential to create the life you’ve always dreamed of. Meditate, and keep your secrets safe while you’re making sense of it all.

Advice from the Tarot: Seven of Cups

Eyes on the prize

Hey Virgo. You’ve really stepped it up in ways that you couldn’t have imagined even a few months ago. You may not fully see it yet, but it’s written all over the faces of the people around you. Some are in awe. Some are inspired. Some are envious. But they all see your power. If they don’t now, they will soon. New opportunities to expand and share your knowledge and experience are yours, or on their way to you now. Keep an open mind and enjoy the sweetness of life without guilt.

Advice from the Tarot: Queen of Swords

Stay free

Happy birthday, darling Libra. As we move away from the chaos of eclipse season, your elegant champion Venus is still hacking her way home to you, and will probably snag her gown on a few more thorns before she gets there on October 13th. September was comically “scorched earth”, setting every outworn notion, belief, hang up and pattern ablaze (twice). October is here to remind you that your best days are ahead of you, and traveling light leaves space for all the treasure you’re meant to find along the way. There may be a little poison lingering, but relief comes quickly when you surrender to the transformation. There’s sweet and supportive energy for healing and renewal in love, at work, and in your friendships all month long. Indulge in all the fun, romance, inspiration, and excitement you can handle. The more you love, the more you are loved. Your new moon on the 21st is an invitation to celebrate who you’ve been, who you are, and who you’re becoming. Buy yourself some roses. Between now and your next season, write down all of your dreams as if you’ve already lived them.

Advice from the Tarot: Ace of Cups

Fill your cup

Happy birthday, sweet Scorpio. This month, good luck will find you no matter where you’re hiding. Exploring your emotional world with curiosity, humility, and an open-mind will expedite it. The full moon in Aries on October 6th will show you what routines support your evolution and which ones are dimming your shine. With Mercury joining Mars in your sign on the 6th, and eventually conjuncting on October 20th, you are a formidable powerhouse in all of your dealings. It’s of the utmost importance to channel this energy into constructive and ideally, creative pursuits, as you’ll have lots of this energy at your disposal during this period. Spending time in or by the water will do you a lot of good when you’re overloaded. You’re born again on October 22nd, and a grand water trine revives a dream you thought you lost. Everything has a season, but true love is eternal.

Advice from the Tarot: Page of Swords

Shh!

Hi Sadge. Your dreams, values, and bank account are expanding and evolving in ways that may surprise you. You’re going to want to share the news, but it’s best to keep your cards close to your chest for now. While you may not fully know where you are, or how you got here, you’re in the right place at the right time. The New Moon in Libra brings more wins, more luck, and more abundance. Use this leg-up to reinvest in yourself, your dreams, and your future. When Scorpio season begins, self-preservation is a meditation on the transience of existence, and what it truly means to live life on your own terms.

Advice from the Tarot:Judgement

Answer the call

Hey Capricorn. This month soulmates of all stripes show you just how much they care. It might feel overwhelming, but it’s comforting nonetheless. The love you let in will ground and relieve you of some of the pressure you’re feeling at work and around your finances. Your ambition and drive is amplified as usual, and you’re primed to make the most of any professional opportunities that present themselves at this time. How you communicate under pressure with those in your orbit will be analyzed by everyone, so try to keep it together to the best of your ability. Focus on what matters most, and leave the rest for later. Pay attention to your dreams and any truths they reveal about your daily life. Time spent in peaceful, natural settings with minimal distractions will keep you on track while you’re leveling up.

Advice from the Tarot: Queen of Wands

Own it

Hi Aquarius. Everything about you and your life as you know it is evolving astronomically. With all of the new and exciting energy and opportunities coming your way, it’s equally important to set aside time to thank and release the past so you can fully experience the magic of the present, in all of its chaotic glory. Meditate on what freedom and sovereignty mean to you, and express that truth so others are inspired to do the same. Your capacity to imagine a better and brighter world for all of us is contagious. Laughter purifies growing pains, so lean into your humor when you’re not sure what else to do.

Advice from the Tarot: 4 of Swords

Take a nap

Hey Pisces. Last month was a doozy, but in many ways it may have been exactly what you needed to catch a clear reflection of yourself in an increasingly illusory world. The walls may feel like they’re closing in, but they’re also melting, so they’re unlikely to stop you in the end. Meditate, spend time by the water, and indulge in any rituals that you find therapeutic. Your ability to see the big picture and share it through music, art, or other creative pursuits is especially healing and transformative for both yourself and those around you. The more you give, the more you’ll receive, so don’t be shy about shining your light.
