Maraschino’s July 2026 Horoscope
Words: Maraschino
July will feel like a fever dream funhouse, with no shortage of shocks and surprises courtesy of a Mercury-ruled Mars-Uranus conjunction in Gemini that perfects on July 4th, but will be active for much of the month. Mercury retrograde in Cancer will also be a major player in all of this, with the usual communication hiccups and SNAFUs amplified by the conjunction’s electric volatility.
Adding to the thrills, Neptune will retrograde in Aries on the 7th, pulling back the veil of illusion and replacing it with searing clarity, whether we like it or not. Venus saunters into the sign of Virgo on the 9th, and while it’s not her favourite zone, it might be nice to have one of the benefics designated driving while everyone else is in party mode. On the 12th, the tone shifts as the Sun in Cancer conjuncts Mercury Rx, which should bring messages and epiphanies, internally or externally, that offer perspective and a way forward in an area of our lives we’ve been wrestling with. The New Moon in Cancer on July 14th welcomes us to set new intentions around community, creativity, family, and heart coherence.
From July 15th, we’ll be entering what the astrologer Andre Barbault suggested could be the golden age for humanity. “Barbault’s basket,” as it is called, consists of a harmonious configuration of the outer planets Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto that will ideally bring much needed positive and innovative restructuring to civilisation as outdated systems of control crumble and decay. While we’re very much in uncharted terrain, the more we apply our focus and energy to attaining the best case scenario for all life on Earth, the better this energy can serve us.
Loud and sexy Leo season begins on July 22nd followed by Mercury stationing direct on the 23rd, and I can already feel my blood pressure normalising as I type this. Timecop Saturn retrogrades on the 26th, and given its comically debilitated condition in Aries, I’m kind of wondering if things will be more or less organised at this point? Guess we’ll find out!
The North Node shifts into Aquarius on the 26th, followed by a Sun-Pluto opposition that will certainly dredge up some uncomfortable truths and bombshells involving some of the world’s prominent “powerbrokers”. July 29th gives us a life-affirming Sun-Jupiter conjunction in golden Leo, and a powerful full moon in Aquarius. This day will be extremely potent and ripe with potential if we are putting ourselves out there in ways that are authentic, heart-centred, and in service of our highest ideals as individuals and citizens of the world. Good luck, everyone.

Advice from the Tarot: The Lovers
Love it or leave it
Hi Gemini. Masks are coming off this month - yours and everyone else’s. Just smile, wave and be on your way. It’s not typically your style, but be a little greedy with your energy if you can. Solitude will bring you back to center, and reality will reward you soon enough.
Advice from the Tarot: The World
In a world of your own
Happy birthday, beautiful Cancer. Make all the time you can find to meditate on what is true for you, no matter who or what surrounds you. Take a trip to the sea to write, daydream and fall in love with yourself. Tune out the noise until it sounds like music again.
Advice from the Tarot: Strength
Heart of a lion

Time will tell
Hi Virgo. You’re having a pink moment. Indulge and enjoy it to the fullest, even if it all feels a little strange. You’ve outgrown your comfort zone and there’s no turning back even if you wanted to. Advice from the Tarot: The Empress
Everything’s coming up roses
Hi Libra. Indulging in the chaotic beauty of existence unleashes the flood of inspiration your heart has been aching for. Daydreams and detours lead you exactly where you love to be. Life offers a kaleidoscope of opportunities, protean and glowing with promise. Trust brings peace. Peace brings healing. Healing brings you home to yourself.
Advice from the Tarot: The Hierophant
Trust
Hi Scorpio. As the ground beneath your feet begins to split and crumble, something more beautiful is coming up for air. It’s fated, it’s magical, and it couldn’t have happened to anyone anywhere else in the world. Lean into what you know to be true, and explore all the ways to embrace what changes. Gratitude will stabilize you, and time will take care of the rest.
Advice from the Tarot: Death
New life
Hey Sadgie. You’re crossing the threshold of who you’ve been and who you’re becoming. New adventures will lift your spirits, as the shadows of your past fade into the ether. Ask your heart what it wants and have the courage to follow through. Embodying your truth inspires others to follow suit.
Advice from the Tarot: The Tower
Time to wake up
Hey Capricorn. Whatever happens now is fated, even if its deeper significance remains obscured. Someone’s love will expand your sense of what’s possible, bringing renewal and healing to forgotten recesses of your heart and mind. Unapologetically loving yourself through all the changes will attract more of what you want into your experience.
Tarot: The High Priestess
You already know
Hey Aquarius. You’re a bit of a phenomenon, altering reality with a wave of your wand. Everything changes when you change your mind. It probably doesn’t feel like much to you, but the shifts will reverberate for years to come. There’s nothing to control but yourself.
Tarot: The Wheel of Fortune
Someone up there loves you
Hi Pisces. Freely expressing your creativity attracts earthly pleasures and gifts. The more open your heart, the more love it can hold. Cleansing yourself of whatever feels excessive, spiritually or otherwise, will help too. Life as you know it will never be the same, and that’s a good thing. Gratitude expands and multiplies everything it touches.
