Featuring multiple locations across the city, from Chinese restaurants to the subway, New York, 5am emphasises the connection of a foreigner with society. Li Mo moved to the States from China when she was young and found inspiration in New York: A city that houses different people from all corners of the world, all united by a desire to belong.
