Make it stand out

We’ve been graced with a new phenomenon of late: a politician who is actually quite nice and  genuinely seems to care about people. Enter Zohran Mamdani, New York City’s mayor elect. Zohran has won over New Yorkers (but also kind of everyone) with his inclusive approach to politics, cost-of-living-busting policies, and his cracking social media strategy. But more than just being a stand-up guy with a refreshing approach to the economy – and an aptitude for making TikToks – it feels like Zohran has a more nebulous quality that makes him so likeable. In short, he’s got rizz and in spades.

There is no greater proof for this than the new mayor’s first meeting with President Trump at the Oval Office last week. After weeks of badmouthing each other, Zohran and Trump finally came together, like any good enemies to lovers storyline. In the run-up to the election, Trump had named Zohran a “100% communist lunatic”, publicly endorsing his opponent Andrew Cuomo, while Zohran said (and maintains to this day) that Trump is a fascist.
