Gbemisola Ikumelo
What TV show changed your life?
Heroes. Heroes season 1 kind of I think is responsible for anything that you love now. Your Stranger Things, whatever ambitious television show that you're watching and enjoying now,I think stands on the back of Heroes season 1 because it was the first time we're like, "Oh, we can do this in television. We can do big ensembles and good effects and really drawn out stories and cliffhangers. I loved it so much as a creator because it was what made me really want to not act. I've always wanted to do that, but it it it made me it validated the fact that I could be ambitious in a medium that up until that point, was like, “Oh, this is how we do television.” I'm sure there are other things there, but that's my memory. Heroes I felt like sort of was a turning point in modern television. And that was pre-streaming as well.

What are you listening to right now?
Is it bad if I say the Hamilton soundtrack still? I kind of have different listening - I have my libraries of things. I have my angry music when I just want to sort of wake up and just drive and like be like “Move out of my way.” And that basically consists of '90s and early noughties hip-hop - DMX, Ludacris, bit of Neptunes. So, a sort of amalgamation of an era of music in a playlist is probably what I'm listening to right now.
What should we be binge watching?
Okay, so I just started watching - it was on the plane, and I don't know if it's worth saying it because I think it's had two seasons and I'm not sure if it's got any more. But Our Flag Means Death is just this really funny comedy. It’s got American bones but a lot of British actors and it's a sort of combination of these really bad pirates just trying to be pirates. This really upper middle class Englishman who wants to be a pirate and he leaves his whole family so he can be a really bad pirate. It's so good. It's so funny. So, I've been binge watching that but it's only got two seasons so I'm worried to recommend you to invest in something that you're going to be disappointed that they cancelled. We should all binge watch it and force them to bring out season three.
Who’s on your acting Mount Rushmore?
Lenny James, amazing actor. Viola Davis, Danai Gurira. Me, because you're going to vote for yourself. You know, if you don't root for you, who’s going to? And Denzel Washington.
Who’s your favourite stand up right now?
Phil Wang, a British Asian comic in the UK, did a really good special on Netflix that I really thought was great.
Chelsea Frei
What TV show changed your life?
Breaking Bad.
What was the last movie you saw and what did you think of it?
Sentimental Value, and I loved it. And one of my best friends in the world, Catherine Cohen, is in it, and she’s a genius.
What are you listening to right now?
I am listening to a lot of Broncho. Obsessed.
What’s your current internet rabbit hole?
Bad maid of honour speeches, because I’m giving a maid of honour speech at my sister’s wedding next weekend. And let me tell you, you can really fuck it up.
What show should we all be binge watching?
Desperate Housewives. I’m doing a rewatch, and that show ages like fine wine. Addicted. You’re like “What else can happen to Wisteria Lane?” and they’re like, “You have no idea.”
Who’s on your acting Mount Rushmore?
Steve Carrell for sure.
Who’s your favourite standup right now?
Mr Eric Rahill, who plays Travis on our show. He is so fucking funny, and if you’re in LA, you should go see one of his shows.
Ramona Young
What TV show changed your life?
I think Breaking Bad was like the first television show where I was like, “I think I'm really into TV.”
What was the last movie you saw and what did you think of it?
I saw One Battle After Another and it was amazing and it was funny and the acting was incredible in it.
What TV show should we all be binging?
The Paper of course!
Who’s on your acting Mount Rushmore?
Frances McDormand, Benicio Del Toro, Mark Ruffalo, and Viola Davis.
Who’s your favourite standup right now?
My favourite standup currently is Ronnie Chang.
Sabrina Impacciatore
What TV show changed your life?
The White Lotus, of course.
What should we be binge watching?
I think viewers should be watching live because there is nothing more interesting than spying on life when life simply goes on. One of my favourite activities is when I am at the airport or when I am in a square or when I am in the waiting room of a dentist. I love to look at people, imagine their lives and try to understand as much as I can about their lives. Their way of thinking.
I think that observing life is a privilege and I am very sorry that more and more, people are watching their phones and they miss life. It's so stupid to me. That's why watching life and watching the sunset and watching the stars at night is my favorite activity. Makes me feel less lonely.
