Ellie Moon and Karen Knox can't stop working together. Their most recent collaboration, Young Female Playwright, premiered at TIFF and Polyester got a behind the scenes exclusive look at the highly anticipated screening. The film, written by Moon, stars Ellie as the titular young female playwright, with Knox as her party-girl-with-a-moral-compass best friend. The film explores the subject of when fiction gets interpreted as autobiography, particularly when the author is female.
