Welcome to Eclipse season. To be fair, this entire year has felt like Eclipse season, so I’m interested to see what this month is bringing our way. Transformation seems unavoidable this month. Saturn's last stand in Pisces for 29 years starts on September 1st, tasking us with tying up any loose ends related to boundaries, beliefs, spirituality, escapism and emotional patterns. On September 2nd, Mercury ingresses into Virgo, where communication sharpens, efficiency is everything, and the minutiae matters. From September 5th through November 7th, Uranus moonwalks through Gemini, asking us to rewind the tape and get caught up on anything we’ve missed since July. Then, the Pisces Lunar Eclipse on the 7th brings fated endings, karmic closures, second chances, and hopefully some silver linings courtesy of Jupiter in Cancer. On September 18th, Mercury enters Libra with flirty diplomacy and a talent for indecision. The following day Venus drops her Leo sequins for Virgo linen, and love is expressed through acts of service and nitpicking. Kidding.
We’ve got our second, and likely more eventful lunation on September 21st, the New Moon Solar Eclipse in Virgo. Doors we didn’t know existed will swing open, and it’s sure to be a doozerino. Mars shifts into its home turf in Scorpio on September 22nd, the Sun glides into Libra, the vibe turns silky, sultry and strategic. That said, be prepared for some turbulence, as the eclipse is operating under the shadow of a volatile Mars-Pluto square that perfects on the 24th. Its influence will be loud in the days leading up. While it’s anyone’s guess how this will play out, it’s good to be mindful of what we’re bringing to the function.
