September will feel kind of chill compared to the chaotic, transformative energy of August, with much of the focus shifting toward how to make the best of everything that was unearthed during eclipse season. That said, the month kicks off on a bitchy note as Mars in Cancer squares Saturn in Aries on September 1st, with both planets in their detriment expressing themselves most uncouthly. Feelings will be stacking, composure will be lacking. Proceed with caution for, honestly, the first week and change. That aside, we still have Venus in lovely Libra as well as an exalted mercury in Virgo until September 10th, so do your best to lean into their charms however they grace your chart.
September 10th brings a palpable shift as we have a New Moon in Virgo, Venus ingressing into Scorpio, Mercury shifting into Libra, and Uranus retrograding in Gemini. Retrogrades usually bring a massive exclamation point or indicator of what the transit is about for each of us, and with Uranus involved it will likely be shocking or surprising in some way. The New Moon in Virgo is our yearly opportunity to lock into the routines and habits that will elevate our game for maximum performance over the next six months. Mercury’s move into Libra will bring some much-needed levity, diplomacy and elegance to the chat until September 30th, while Venus in Scorpio serves up slightly scorned, patent-adorned baddie energy for an extended stay until October 24th, as she prepares to retrograde next month.
Mercury in Libra trines Pluto in Aquarius, and opposes Neptune in Aries on September 12th creating an opportunity for brilliant, creative, and cathartic exchanges of ideas with the potential that some of the details can be hazy, misunderstood, or miscommunicated. Be mindful of mixed signals and don’t ignore red flags to keep the peace. Neptune in Aries sextiles Pluto in Aquarius on September 15th, and with both retrograde, there is a deep, internal pull to reimagine our dreams in a way that aligns with our ever-shifting timelines. Libra season and the Fall Equinox (for my Northern Hemispherians) begin on September 22nd, ushering in a fresh breeze of opportunities to explore the wide world of love, partnerships, collaborations, and reciprocity. Libra’s faithful ruler, Venus, will retrograde next month on October 3rd, so be cautious about entering into new relationships, as we are already in the shadow period at this time.
