There are few things more fun than a few days in Barcelona, but a few days in Barcelona where you also get to see a tiny Olivia Rodrigo concert in a magical fairy garden replete with flowers, trees, a swing-set, drinks personalised to your starsign, and rustic, amphitheatre-style seating could probably be counted among that few. 

Polyester was lucky enough to get the inside scoop on Olivia’s Spotify Billions Club Live concert - we got to meet the fans, see Olivia perform her new song “Drop Dead” as well as others from across her first two albums “GUTS” and “SOUR”, and generally have a very girlypops evening in the prettiest venue in Barcelona <3 Here’s our photo diary from the trip!

We also met Amy who is an Olivia superfan!! She’s seen her play 13 times and makes a jacket to commemorate every new album.

When we arrived at the concert, the line of fans outside the venue was so long but we were so excited to meet everyone (and see all their amazing outfits, of which there were many).

Everyone showing off their fav song bracelets was very cute. When we asked people in the queue what they most wanted to hear, it was “AlI I Want” from High School Musical: The Musical: The Show. Didn’t happen - sad! - but maybe one day.

Boys love OR too!!! (This fan’s mum made this bouquet, and Olivia actually received it during the show <3)

Have you ever seen such a pretty concert venue? The show took place at Teater Grec in Barcelona which is full of the most beautiful flower gardens - perfect for such a special Olivia show tbh tbh

Every drink came with a personalised notecard for your starsign; the sad girl agenda was strong.

Everyone at the show got a special Olivia Billions Club keyring which was so so cute!

And the award for most fun use of stickers goes to…

A very “your digital camera from a 2005 holiday” (#aesthetic) of the most beautiful stage ever.

It was truly like sitting in an amphitheatre - except instead of men fighting lions or whatever, we got to watch one of the best popstars in the world.

Olivia replete in babydoll regalia, just like the Drop Dead vid!

A few songs on the piano including “drivers license” and “traitor”!! Multitalented queen……

She also performed “lacy” with her guitarist while sitting on the side of the stage which was a v cool moment to see close up!

The last song was “get him back” and during the outro Olivia gave the cutest group of lil girls a big hug and made me cry because I am a softie. Best night ever xo
