For the past 48hrs, all of Korean media has been covering his return and subsequent removal from K-Pop boy group RIIZE, embroiled in a ‘scandal’ that will split an entire fandom in half. Pictures leaked from his private Instagram showed him sharing a kiss with his then girlfriend, while another photo featured him smoking a cigarette. All of this was pre-debut, back when he wasn’t being groomed to be an untouchable star, back when he really was just an ordinary teenager. And yet still, it was enough to cement his permanent removal from the group.
